Engagement of General Duty Doctors & Specialist Doctors- Walk-In

Walk-in-Interview of General Duty Doctors and Specialist Doctors.

Retired IRHS officers, Retired Government Medical Officers of State Government and Central Government and PSUs may also apply against above vacancies. The condition will be as under:-

(i) Age:- Not exceeding 65 years as on 12.11.2020.

(ii) Qualification:- Degree/Diploma in corresponding specialty mentioned in remarks column above for Specialty and for GDMP, the minimum qualification required is MBBS.

(iii) Remuneration:- Fixed remuneration of Rs.75000/- ( Seventy five Thousand only ) per month for GDMO & Rs. 95000/- (Ninety-five thousand only) per month for Specialist, subject to condition that remuneration + pension should not exceed the last pay drawn by Retired Doctors.

(iv) Terms and condition will be followed as mentioned in Railway Board’s L.No:2008/E(GR)II/1/1 dated-16.07.12,Rly.Bd’s L.No-2013/E(GR)II/1/5 dated-20.05.14, 09.07.2018 & 04.01.18, Rly. Bd’s L.No.2014/E(GR)II/1/1 dated-13.06.2017. & Rly. Bd’s L.No. 2018/Terms. Cell/Health/Medical Issues dated-24.08.2018.

How to apply & Mode of Interview:- Candidates intending to join as Contract Medical Practitioner should apply on prescribed format (enclosed) and submitt the same up to 10.30 A.M on the date of interview at the venue along with self attested photocopies of following documents and attend the “Walk-in-Interview” with original certificates mentioned below –

(a) Proof of age.

(b) Proof of passing MBBS (with all year marks sheet), Internship, Degree, Diploma & other educational qualifications. (c) Proof of registration in Indian Medical Council/Medical Council of State.

(d) Experience certificate if any.

(e) Proof of caste in case of SC/ST candidate & non-creamy layer certificate in case of OBC candidates. (only on prescribed format for Central Government will be accepted in case of OBC).

(f) Mark Sheet(s) of relevant qualification(s).

(g) 04 (four) copies of recent passport size photograph with self signature.

(h) Original Pension Payment Order book & self attested copy of the same in case of Retd. Doctor.

(i) Service Certificate issue by Organization on Retirement, if available.

General Conditions and other facilities:- (a) In the event of absence from duty, deduction from the remuneration will be applicable @ daily rate of proportionate of remuneration.

(b) Railway administration has legitimate right to transfer the engaged CMP(s) any where over E.C.Railway in case of administrative exigency.

(c) One set of 1 st class complementary pass for self and family shall be issued during each contract period after completion of three months of regular contract service. Contract Medical Practitioner can avail free medical treatment on E.C.Railway Hospital for self only.

(d) No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.

(e) Selected candidates will be posted at Cental cum Super Speciality Hospital, East Central Railway/Patna.

(f) CMP will have no right of posting against regular vacant post or transfer at his own request.

(g) CMP is not be allowed private practice after sanction of contract.

(h) The candidates working in any Medical Organization/State Govt. should submit their applications through proper channel with “No Objection certificate”.

(i) There may be change in numbers of vacancies and place of posting as specified above depending upon administrative requirement. Offer of posting will be made on the basis of availability of vacancies at the time of engagement.

(j) Posts indicated herein may be kept unfilled at the discretion of Railway administration.

(k) Contract Medical Practitioners engaged on contract basis in the Railway will not have any claim or right for his/her continuity in service or automatic extension of the term of contract service. The service rendered as CMP will not confer the right to take waitage for regular selection through UPSC and also will not confer any right for regularization or absorption.

(l) If Railway accommodation is provided to the CMPs subject to availability and after meeting the requirement of serving Railway officers, an amount equivalent to HRA payable to afresh entrant to Group ‘A’ Junior Scale/Sr.Scale and license fee of the Railway accommodation will be deducted from the monthly remuneration payable to the Contract Medical Practitioner.

(m) In case Specialists are not available against the vacancies as notified, Railway Administration will reserve the right to engage General Duty Doctors against these vacancies.

(n) Offer of engagement will be issued in favour of selected candidates. The candidates should report within 15 days from the date of issue of offer letter. For candidates not reporting within stipulated time, offer may be cancelled.

(o) Contract of the CMPs can be terminated by the Railway at any time during the contract period by giving 15 days notice without assigning any reason as per the terms and condition laid down in Railway Board’s L.No:2007/H/1/1 dt-16.10.08; L.No:96/E(GR)II/9/16 dt-23.02.2000; L.No:2013/E(GR)II/1/5 dt-20.05.14; L.No.2014/E(GR)II/1/1 dt-13.06.17 & Rly.Bd’s L.No 2018/Terms.Cell/Health/Medical Issues dated-24.08.2018 

Candidates should report with original relevant document for “Walk-in-Interview” at the venue mentioned above at 09.30 Hrs. to 10.30 Hrs. on the date of interview positively otherwise their application will not be entertained.
