Job Description
WALK. IN -INTERVIEW
It is proposed to fill up following posts on contractual basis for a project under national manpower development scheme of National Mental Health programme (NMHP). The eligible and interested candidates fulfilling the following qualifications/experience may appear for walk-in interview on O2.12.2O2O at 10 AM onward with their applications giving full details of academic records, experience along with original and attested copies of documents and two passport size photographs. Retired person up to the age of 62 years may be allowed to appear for interview.

Qualification
For Sl. No. 1: Professor:
(i) A . recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
(ii)Post-graduate degree in the concerned specialty mentioned in Section - A of Schedule - VI or equivalent.
Essential Experience:
For Professor (Sl No. 1) -
(i) 12 years standing in the profession out of which at least 4 years experience should be in the concerned specialty as Associate Professor in a Medical College/Teaching Institution after the requisite Post-graduate degree qualification.
(ii) Extensive practical and administrative experience.
Essential Qualification: For Sl No. .2 to 6.
(i) First or Second Class (55%) Master's Degree in Social Work/ Psychology/Psychiatric Nursing
(ii) M. Phil. in Psychiatric Social Work/ in Clinical Psychology /Psychiatric Nursing)
(iii) Ph.D/D.Sc in Social work/Clinical Psychology/Psychiatric Nursing from a recognized Institution / University.
Essential Experience: For Sl No. 2 to 4.
i) 5 years teaching & research experience as Assistant Professor in Psychiatric Social Work/ Clinical psychology /Psychiatric Nursing in recognized department/centre. Desirable: 03 (three) publications in indexed journals as first/corresponding author.
Essential Experience For Sl No. 5 & 6: 3 years teaching /clinical /research experience in the concerned subject after Ph.D. degree. Desirable: 02 (two) Research Publication in indexed journals as first/corresponding author.
Essential Qualification: For Sl No. 7: First Class M.Sc. in psychiatric Nursing from a recognized University/institution or M.Sc. in Nursing with Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing or equivalent qualification. Desirable: 2 years teaching experience in Psychiatric Nursing.
Note: written Examination for the post of Nursing held on 03.12.2020.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
(1)Candidates who do not fulfill requirement of advertisement need not come for interview.
(2) All Medical Qualifications should be recognized under MCI.
(3) Consolidated fixed pay without any allowances will be admissible to the selected candidates for appointment on contractual basis.
(4) Contractual appointment will be limited only upto the period of approval of sanctioned project under National Manpower Development Scheme of National Mental Health programme (NMHP) of the Government of India.
(5) The contractual appointee will not be. entitled to any benefit like Provident Fund, Pension, Gratuity, Medical reimbursement for treatment, seniority, promotion, confirmation etc. or any other benefit which are admissible to a regular Institute employee.
(6) Relaxation in upper age limit will be applicable in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates and retired employees as per Central Govt. norms.
(7) The crucial date for reckoning the age limit shall be the date of the walk-in-interview/Written Examination.
(8) Interested and qualified candidates may appear in the Walk-in-Interview with all original certificate in respect of Age, Qualification, Registration (MCI/lNC/RCI) Certificate, working experience certificate and attested copies of certificate/one PP size photograph to the Administrative officer, LGBRIMH, Tezpur-784001 on or before 10 AM of O2.12.2O2O and on O3.12.2O2O for Nursing Tutor.
(9) Canvassing in any form will be treated as disqualification.
(10) No TA / DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
